Jean Blackstone, beloved wife and mom, grandma, and great-grandma peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 31st in San Antonio, Texas. Jean was born September 15, 1935 in New York, NY.
Jean is reunited with beloved husband Bob and parents Merton and Dorothy and stepmother Katherine. She is survived by children Robert (RB), Sheryl, Debra; daughter-in-law Barbara, sons-in-law Al and Scott; grandchildren Nicole, Sophie; grandson-in-law Wilson; great-grandchildren Noah, Elia and siblings Judith, Kathi and Paul; nephews Matthew and Spencer.
Leader, Singer, Choir Director, Lover of People, Rescuer of Animals and Plants. Through her passion and joy, Mama Jean has blessed us all.
Visitation: Monday, June 12 6-8:30 p.m. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
Celebration of Life: Tuesday, June 13 - 11:00 a.m. Marbach Christian Church 8023 Marbach Rd, San Antonio.
Reception following at Marbach church. Interment: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
